Solidarity with Egyptian workers

As the Egyptian army continues its bloody crackdown on the Muslim Brotherhood, it’s important not to lose sight of the struggles that actually could lead to better lives for our Egyptian fellow workers.  The current military regime is continuing the brutal legacy of the Mubarek and Morsi regimes in their attack on workers’ rights, arresting steelworkers who briefly struck after several of their colleagues were sacked for demanding that management honor the terms of their contract.
